Size - 2” (56mm) for Extra Light Wall Pipe, 1 1/2” (43mm) for Med Wall Pipe, Heavier Wall can be Used

Strainer Post Hole - 1/2” or 12mm

Use a 1/2 inch flat gal washer for timbers post only
2" extra pipe or 1 1/2" medium well
1/2" Hole

Drill a 13mm hole in strainer post with a 70˚ angle
Insert Staypoint into 3m steel stay. Use 2” extra light wall or 1.5” medium wall (Heavier grade can be used also)
Position Staypoint in drilled hole
Position stay in bottom of Stayblock “V” Loop wire around strainer and Stayblock

Features Installation Instructions
Easy to install Bolt on bottom hinge, so gate will swing from side of post.
Adjustable Rotate “keys” with a shifter to clamp post.
Reusable Position gate on bottom hinge.
Gate opens against fence Chock the other end of gate to correct height.
No welding or cutting required Fit top hinge loosely - so it can swivel.
Adjust swing / angle of gate by lifting or lowering the other end of gate so this rotates top hinge.
Adjust chock if needed.
Clamp top hinge in the final position, by rotating "keys" with shifter.
Check swing of gate.
Hammer all “keys” tight against the post.

Description

Post Grips clip onto the bottom of your steel strainer posts prior to driving into the ground.

We recommend using two per post, on opposite sides, this stabilises the post and increases by a factor of 3 the resistance to jacking.

Using Post Grip

Attach 2 x Post Grips on opposite sides of steel strainer post, the straight side with hook on the inside of the post, leaving the S shaped on the outside of post. Then drive your post into the soil with the Post Grips attached to the pipe, this will stabilise post to resist jacking.
